Inpatient/Outpatient Psychiatrist
About The Position
Ally Psychiatry is seeking a Board-Certified to join our growing behavioral health team in Savannah, Georgia. This unique opportunity combines inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, offering a dynamic practice with the ability to provide continuity of care across multiple treatment settings. The psychiatrist will work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, caring for adult behavioral health patients while helping support and develop advanced practice providers. This position offers a balanced clinical schedule, leadership opportunities, and the support of an established behavioral health organization.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active Georgia medical license or ability to obtain one
- DEA registration or eligibility
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric treatment
- Manage inpatient and outpatient treatment plans
- Supervise and collaborate with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
- Work closely with therapists, nursing staff, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in shared call coverage
