CAMBA is a community organization dedicated to building an inclusive New York City by providing over 160 integrated programs in Education & Youth Development, Family Support, Job Training & Employment Support Services, Health, Housing, and Legal Services. CAMBA operates six homeless shelters for single adults, funded by the New York City Department of Homeless Services, offering a supportive, structured, therapeutic, safe, and drug-free environment. These shelters aim to rapidly place individuals experiencing homelessness into housing by providing comprehensive case management and housing placement services. Medical, behavioral health, job placement, and therapeutic recreation services are available to help stabilize clients and facilitate their transition into permanent or supportive housing. The Supervisor I (House Manager) role is crucial in maintaining the safety, security, and smooth operation of the shelter facility.
