About The Position

This position pertains to advanced clinical practice. The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) provides comprehensive women's health care while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Women and Children's Health Program. The WHNP ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Must have clinical experience as an NP or PA, preferably in a clinic setting.
• Knowledge of women's health programs and practices.
• Successful experience managing people and working on teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to reproductive and gender justice, health equity and working with a diverse community.
• Lead to ensure a culture of inclusivity, collaboration and continuous improvement in the organization.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with cultural humility and sensitivity.
• Passion for advancing women's health and equity and reducing disparities.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope women's health care, including preventive, reproductive, prenatal/postpartum, and gynecologic services.
• Conduct patient assessments, diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications.
• Perform procedures such as Pap smears, contraceptive counseling, STI testing/treatment, and menopause management.
• Collaborate with providers, other clinic staff, and community partners to ensure holistic care.
• Provide family-centered primary healthcare to women of all ages.
• Provide routine gynecological services including reproductive health visits, regular gynecologic care (i.e., annual exams) and peri/post-menopausal care and preventive care.
• Consult with other agencies and other health and social care professionals to ensure continuity of care.
