About The Position

The Supervisor Housekeeping Linen oversees linen stocking and linen operations in housekeeping locker rooms and the linen dock. The role supervises Linen Attendants, monitors linen quality and inventory-related activity, and maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment. The supervisor may assume the duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Housekeeper as needed and performs other duties necessary for departmental success.

Requirements

• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• GED or high school diploma preferred.

Nice To Haves

• One to three years of progressive housekeeping or laundry operations supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous experience at a large resort hotel preferred.
• Previous experience using a weight scale preferred.
• GED or high school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure clean linen is stocked in housekeeping locker rooms according to established PAR levels.
• Supervise Linen Attendants in the safe and efficient operation of motorized carts used to transport full and empty hampers.
• Record and assist with weighing and receiving clean linen hampers delivered by vendors.
• Inspect linen and terry products for quality, cleanliness, condition, and compliance with established standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the linen dock and housekeeping locker rooms.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate Linen Attendants to ensure departmental standards are consistently met.
• Track, document, and report linen discards, rejects, and rewash items.
• Assume the duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Housekeeper as needed.
• Perform duties deemed necessary for the success of the department.
