About The Position

The nurse supervisor is responsible for overall clinical nursing practice and resident/patient care during the assigned shift. The supervisor supports continuity in decision-making and consistency in nursing practice by ensuring nursing policies, procedures, standards, and objectives are met. This role serves as a resource and support person and represents administration during events that occur on the shift. As a representative of leadership, the supervisor supports Holy Redeemer’s vision, objectives, strategies, and tactics in pursuit of its mission. The role engages employees and reflects the organization’s strengths, values, culture, and beliefs, inspiring employees to Care, Comfort and Heal for patients, residents, clients, and one another.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
Two years of experience.
CPR certification.
Flexibility with scheduling.
Sensitivity to residents’ emotional, social, mental health, and spiritual needs.
Willingness to be a change agent.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Previous supervisor experience.
Computer experience.
