About The Position
HCA Florida Capital Hospital is seeking a House Supervisor RN to join a collaborative team. The role proactively coordinates and supervises the hospital and patient care services, with a focus on supporting excellent care and quality patient outcomes. The supervisor serves as a patient and family advocate, protects privacy and confidentiality, coordinates bed management, and administers plans and evaluates hospital activities to ensure quality patient care. The hospital is an accredited 288-bed acute-care facility serving Leon and Gadsden Counties, with more than 1,400 employees and 500+ providers. Benefits eligibility may vary by location.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Must hold an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) credential or be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an associate degree or registered nurse diploma.
- Two years of acute-care experience required.
Responsibilities
- Proactively coordinate and supervise the hospital and patient care services.
- Serve as the patient and family advocate and protect privacy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate bed management.
- Administer plans and evaluate hospital activities to ensure quality patient care.
