About The Position

This is a full-time Supervisor position in Hotel Operations. The role involves creating a positive work environment, managing daily operations, and ensuring excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include training staff, preparing schedules, handling guest issues, processing financial reports, managing the rooming process for various guest types, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations. The position also requires maintaining knowledge of hotel and local events, administering customer service, and completing special assignments. The work environment is diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven, and requires multi-project coordination and flexibility.

  • Experience posting charges and settling folios for individuals and groups.
  • Experience resolving due-outs and completing express check-outs.
  • Experience coordinating, ordering, and reconciling package coupons.
  • Experience distributing, handling, redeeming, and assigning coupons.
  • Ability to announce evacuations and contact executives in emergency situations.
  • Ability to partner with Housekeeping, Front Services and Casino Marketing.
  • Ability to ensure cleanliness, organization, and safe condition of work areas.
  • Ability to maintain knowledge of hotel, community, and special events.
  • Ability to administer superior customer service.
  • Ability to complete special assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that customer problems/complaints are handled in a timely, effective, courteous manner.
  • Training new employees and preparing work schedules.
  • Responsible for the motivation, continual training, and empowerment of employees.
  • Ensuring that staff behavior and appearance comply with established policy.
  • Processing discrepancy reports, rate variation and credit reports.
  • Responsible for the efficient operation of the rooming process including arrangements such as the pre-blocking, pre-registration and final check-in of Casino, Group Sales, and VIP guests based upon time of arrival, special requests, and play-based value.
  • Responsible for posting charges and settling folios for individuals and groups as well as resolving due-outs and completing express check-outs.
  • Coordinating the ordering and reconciliation of package coupons.
  • Distributing, handling, redeeming, and assigning for distribution coupons that are considered in the calculation of gross revenue.
  • Announcing evacuations, contacting appropriate executives in emergency and evacuation situations.
  • Partnering with Housekeeping, Front Services and Casino Marketing to ensure timely guest check-in and maximum occupancy.
  • Ensuring cleanliness, organization, and safe condition of work areas.
  • Maintaining knowledge of hotel, community, and special events to accurately provide guests with needed information.
  • Administering superior customer service to all guests.
  • Completing special assignments as requested.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
