About The Position

Veho is hiring a Ground Operations Supervisor in Ontario, California. The supervisor is a hands-on leader who works day to day with Warehouse Associates and Leads, developing staff through coaching and training and setting a standard of operational excellence through values-based leadership. The role is accountable for accurate reporting and scheduling, cross-functional communication, and ensuring sort and launch packages are processed efficiently and safely. The supervisor assesses operational needs, manages logistical challenges using technology platforms, and drives continuous improvement while supporting on-time delivery and a positive experience for customers, clients, crowdsourced drivers, and employees. The role is onsite during scheduled shifts; occasional off-site work is at the manager’s discretion. Warehouse schedules may change based on operational and business needs.

Requirements

At least 1 year of management experience in logistics, operations, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency with technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and changing environment.
Commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to team members and driver partners.
Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, as operational needs require.
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift, frequently bend, move boxes, and regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in hot or cold temperatures and in an environment with loud noise and fumes.

Responsibilities

Coach, train, and develop Warehouse Associates and Leads, including preparing team members for future success.
Set a standard of operational excellence and lead the team using Veho’s values.
Ensure sort and launch packages are processed efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Maintain accurate reports and coordinate cross-functional communication.
Plan and prioritize team and business initiatives, including team development and continuous improvement milestones.
Assess operational needs and work cross-functionally to coordinate seamless operations.
Support on-time delivery and exceed the expectations of customers, clients, crowdsourced drivers, and employees.
Schedule shifts to align with business needs, operational hours, and projected volume.
Lead the team to achieve operational KPIs and metrics.
Partner across functions to support a successful operation and organization.
