About The Position

Supervises/oversees assigned area(s) ensuring appropriate staffing, scheduling, training, and other staffing related activities to ensure accurate/timely productivity, sanitation, and safety guidelines are met. Assists manager(s) in a variety of responsibilities, as assigned. This position is located at the Children's Hospital Patient Meals - Yale Campus in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It has been identified as a safety-sensitive position under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Valid Oklahoma Food Handler's permit
6 months to 1 year related experience
Effective interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

Supervises assigned areas and personnel ensuring appropriate staffing, scheduling, training, and filling in when needed to ensure accurate and timely productivity, meeting sanitation and safety guidelines.
Assists manager(s) and/or other personnel as needed with a variety of responsibilities including: interviewing, performance evaluations, counselings, reporting, in-service classes, addressing department down time, safety issues, department problems, and takes appropriate corrective action.
Trains and monitors staff in a positive manner on hospital and department policies, safety, sanitation, computer use, and documentation.
Communicates employee, equipment, and department needs to management.
Supports management and peers by words/action.
