About The Position

This position supervises and oversees assigned areas, ensuring appropriate staffing, scheduling, training, and other staffing-related activities to meet productivity, sanitation, and safety guidelines. The role also assists managers with various responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Oklahoma Food Handler's permit
  • 6 months to 1 year related experience
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Supervises assigned areas and personnel ensuring appropriate staffing, scheduling, training, and filling in when needed to ensure accurate and timely productivity, meeting sanitation and safety guidelines.
  • Assists manager(s) and/or other personnel as needed with a variety of responsibilities including: interviewing, performance evaluations, counselings, reporting, in-service classes, addressing department down time, safety issues, department problems, and takes appropriate corrective action.
  • Trains and monitors staff in a positive manner on hospital and department policies, safety, sanitation, computer use, and documentation.
  • Communicates employee, equipment, and department needs to management.
  • Supports management and peers by words/action.
