Supervisor Feed Mill - 2nd Shift

About The Position

This position manages the production and delivery of high-quality feed to Tyson growers at the lowest possible cost while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. It maintains daily drug inventory for FDA compliance and obtains daily driver reports to ensure DOT compliance. The supervisor manages personnel in the Housekeeping and Preventative Maintenance departments, coordinates production schedules and corresponding inventories, holds monthly safety meetings to address problems in the Mill and Trucking operations, plans the budget quarterly, keeps upper management informed, and performs other responsibilities as needed. The position is on 2nd shift. Travel is required for 1 to 5 trips per year. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

Specialized knowledge normally acquired through two years of college resulting in an associate degree or equivalent.
Three or more years of experience preferred.
Basic computer skills; knowledge of the Tyson Business Computer System may be required.
Experience supervising a group of personnel in a single department or work unit performing similar or interrelated tasks and activities.
Travel of 1 to 5 trips per year.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
