About The Position

The Supervisor Dispatch Ready Mix executes and monitors internal transfers and outbound deliveries to internal and external customers, ensuring on-time performance and maximizing the use of trucking resources. The role involves supervising a dispatch team and truck drivers, coordinating shipment and loading schedules, monitoring carrier and terminal performance, and tracking operational KPIs.

The position requires strong leadership, communication, analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities. The supervisor must be able to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, work independently, and work flexible hours under deadline pressure. Work involves outdoor exposure to extreme heat, cold, and noise, and requires protective equipment at the location.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics (dispatching).
• Trucking and cement terminal operations experience required.
• Background in TL.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise a dispatch team and truck drivers.
• Demonstrated execution orientation.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities.
• Ability to work flexible hours under deadline pressure.
• Strong communication and analytical skills, including excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to make sound operational decisions and work independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and general PC experience.
• Energetic and detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

• Truck driving experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a dispatch team and truck drivers.
• Execute and monitor internal transfers and outbound deliveries to internal and external customers.
• Ensure on-time performance and maximize the use of trucking resources.
• Monitor shipment and loading schedules.
• Track time at terminal or plant per carrier, daily tons shipped, on-time carrier performance, and KPIs.
• Consider terminal and ready-mix inventory levels, confirmed orders and delivery times, delays and contingencies, plant production capacity, and transportation capacity when coordinating operations.
