About The Position

HRM Concrete is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to support its ready mix operations. The role supports daily plant operations by assisting equipment operators, maintaining the plant and yard, performing general cleanup, and helping ensure materials and equipment are ready for production. It requires a strong work ethic, safe work practices in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to perform a variety of physical tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous construction, manufacturing, or concrete plant experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including regularly lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Ready Mix Loader Operator and other plant personnel with daily operations.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning the plant, yard, equipment, and work areas.
• Shovel, sweep, and remove spilled aggregate, concrete, and debris to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with unloading and organizing materials and supplies.
• Support routine maintenance by gathering tools, parts, and equipment as directed.
• Inspect work areas for safety hazards and report concerns to supervisors.
• Help direct truck traffic and maintain safe loading and unloading areas when needed.
• Safely operate basic hand and power tools.
• Perform manual labor, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
• Follow company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Complete other duties as assigned to support plant operations.
