About The Position

Cemex is seeking a responsible and skilled Ready-Mix Driver to safely operate a concrete mixer and deliver loads to commercial and residential job sites. The role involves navigating varied conditions, including uneven terrain, and may require handling and attaching extension chutes weighing 30 to 50 pounds.

The driver is expected to follow safety regulations, deliver concrete safely and on time, adapt discharge methods to site conditions, maintain the truck, provide professional customer service, and coordinate with dispatch and other team members. The work takes place in diverse environments, including outdoor industrial settings, and requires use of protective equipment and compliance with safety protocols. Physical tasks include frequent walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, and climbing.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B).
• Must qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Acceptable CSA and MVR record.
• No DUI/DWI in the last five years and no more than three moving violations in the past three years.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to the construction and transportation industry.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow supervisors’ instructions and guidance.
