About The Position

Equinix is hiring a Supervisor, Data Center Critical Facilities in Dallas, Texas. The role provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees, assigns tasks, monitors work, and maintains team schedules and workflow. It oversees personnel matters, data center projects and maintenance, site capacity, contractor work, testing documentation, and on-site coordination during incidents. The position is on-site. The targeted annual base pay range for the Dallas location is $80,000–$120,000; bonus eligibility applies, and equity may be offered depending on the position. The stated pay range does not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related experience or equivalent work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate supervision to semi-skilled support team members; assign tasks and monitor work frequently, and maintain team schedules and workflow.
• Manage personnel details, including salaries, positioning, hiring and firing, reviews, coaching, and training.
• Plan, coordinate, budget, and implement resources for data center projects and maintenance.
• Execute specified routine tasks and meet unit targets, typically against a weekly plan.
• Provide input and guidance toward the budget.
• Supervise overall site capacity.
• Oversee contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards.
• Assist with startup tests and document and report problems.
• Communicate and coordinate activities and on-site staff during incidents.
