About The Position

The Supervisor, Data Center Critical Facilities provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees. The role assigns tasks, monitors work frequently, and maintains team schedules and workflow. It supervises semi-skilled support team members and manages personnel matters, including salaries, positioning, hiring and firing, reviews, coaching, and training.

The supervisor plans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources for data-center projects and maintenance; performs routine tasks; works toward unit targets, typically against a weekly plan; provides input and guidance toward budgets; and oversees overall site capacity. The role also oversees contractor work to ensure it meets Equinix standards, assists with startup testing and documents and reports problems, and communicates and coordinates on-site staff during incidents.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience or equivalent work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
