About The Position

The Supervisor, Data Center Critical Facilities provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees, assigning tasks, monitoring work frequently, and maintaining team schedules and workflow. The role supervises semi-skilled support team members and manages personnel matters, including salaries, positioning, hiring and firing, reviews, coaching, and training. The position plans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources for data-center projects and maintenance; supervises site capacity; and oversees contractors to ensure their work meets Equinix standards. It also assists with startup testing and documentation of problems, and coordinates on-site staff and activities during incidents. The role is based in the United States at DA6 Dallas. The stated target annual base-pay range is $80,000–$120,000, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.

Requirements

At least 5 years of related experience or equivalent work experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

Provide immediate supervision to semi-skilled support team members; assign tasks, monitor work frequently, and maintain team schedules and workflow.
Manage personnel details, including salaries, positioning, hiring and firing, reviews, coaching, and training.
Plan, coordinate, budget, and implement resources for data-center projects and maintenance.
Execute specified routine tasks and meet unit targets, typically against a weekly plan.
Provide input and guidance toward the budget.
Supervise overall site capacity.
Oversee contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards.
Assist with startup tests and document and report problems.
Communicate and coordinate activities and on-site staff during incidents.
