About The Position

AFO is looking for a Central Issue Facility (CIF) Supervisor to work in Fort Sill, OK. This role reports directly to the Supply and Services Manager and is responsible for assisting in the management of selected installation supply activity covered under the Fort Sill Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) Contract. The primary duty includes the management and operation of the Fort Sill Central Issue Facility, serving as the CIF facility supervisor with overall responsibility for its efficient operation and mission execution. The role also involves assisting with specified CIF property management, preparing logistical reports, managing the CIF to meet government and AFO, LRC goals, and overseeing the CIF Facility, employee supervision, Organizational Clothing & Individual Equipment (OCIE) stock, and selected warehouses. Support for mobilization exercises, training, and mission requirements is also a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Office Management training & knowledge of ISM system.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ general experience in Military Logistics Management, and/or experience in customer relations.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in supply management or a like-type facility.
  • Technical proficiency and a history of providing service to support a specified military mission.
  • Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
  • Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result, obtain and maintain a CAC.
  • Applicant must possess a REAL ID-compliant, state-issued driver’s license.
  • Working knowledge of software programs related to the CIF operation.
  • Working knowledge of the Installation Support Modular (ISM system).

Nice To Haves

  • Courses in personnel management are preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of management within the military environment preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business-related study (Management, Administration, General Business, etc.) or equivalent experience working in Warehouse Administration position(s) highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and control the CIF Operation within LRC Contract & Department of Defense (DOD) guidance.
  • Serve as the CIF Supervisor of a multi-functional organization issuing OCIE for soldiers and civilians.
  • Responsible for all CIF administrative, management and mission executions.
  • Oversee the Supply operations within the CIF to include receipt, storage, issue, record management, property accountability, requisitioning, and associated inventory control of all materials and supplies necessary to support the CIF under contractual requirements.
  • Staff, manage, and operate the CIF in accordance with Fort Sill, DOD and contractual guidelines.
  • Provide oversight and controls supply and stockage requirements within the CIF.
  • Develop and conduct training of employees. Enforce safety, implement organizational changes, interview, counsel and make decisions to get the mission accomplished.
  • Conduct inventories in accordance with contract and DoD requirements.
  • Coordinate with all customers to ensure they are aware of CIF closures.
  • Control CIF activities, track requisitioning, receipt of materials and supplies, inventory, consumption, reorder points, stockage levels and property accounts.
  • Execute customer relations tasks.
  • Review all work requirements and coordinate with the Supply Manager to ensure adequate personnel are available for mission execution, take appropriate corrective action regarding problems and overall ensure full compliance with regulations, contract requirements and Government policies.
  • Interface with Government Contracting Officer, Accountable Officer and AFO, LRC Managers or their designated representatives.
  • Coordinate with customers of all military ranks.
  • Schedule meetings, counsel employees, project supply requirements, trace costs and stockage objectives, monitor expenses, perform supply support functions, meet customer's needs and support the Fort Sill military community as required.
  • Meet or exceed established standards.
  • Work closely with the Supply and Services manager to project CIF workload, organizational needs.
  • Track workload and performance data, submit required reports and ensure proper implementation of new OCIE equipment fielding.
