Supervisor, Catheterization and Vascular Lab - Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is hiring a Supervisor, Catheterization and Vascular Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a Full Time, Day shift in Woodbridge, VA! The Supervisor, Catheterization and Vascular Lab- Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the daily operations of one or more clinical areas. Supervises procedural area RN's and staff including coordinating quality and customer service activities; assisting in the development and monitoring of the departmental budget; coordinating the purchasing and payroll processes; serving as a technical/clinical resource to team members; and performing work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and to mentor/assist staff. Serve as chief retention officer for areas of responsibility. The Cath Lab at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is a 50-person team of monitor techs, cardiovascular invasive techs, registered nurses and patient care staff for additional support. The team sees a mix of inpatient and outpatient and an average of 10 procedures per day. Heart and Vascular has 3 labs for EP, Cardiac and IR at SNVMC.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse License Required
- ACLS required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cath/vascular/procedural areas
- BSN Required
Nice To Haves
- MSN Preferred
- Specialty Nursing Certification Preferred
- RCIS preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience for at least 2 years preferred
- Background in IR/Cath and Angio preferred
- Procedural experience preferred
