As a Supervisor, Carrier Sales Representative in Brokerage at RXO, you will work cross-functionally with various departments, including sales, carrier procurement and operations, carrier compliance, finance, and accounts payable. You’ll manage a team of Carrier Sales Representatives and ensure that everyone is consistently delivering positive results

Requirements

2 years of non-asset-based brokerage experience

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree
Experience working directly with carriers
Solid experience in management, with the ability to prioritize work and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Proven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively supervise, coach and influence employees; conflict resolution skills

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of Carrier Procurement team
Develop and expand carrier relationships with both existing and new carriers
Train, mentor and develop a team of Carrier Procurement Representatives
Book freight and maintain KPI metrics while ensuring your direct reports do the same
Conduct research in available databases for potential leads; make cold calls to prospects
Track back-end billing and invoicing to ensure that carrier charges are accurate
