Oversee the overall operations of the Cashiering, chip bank, marker bank and main bank areas, including financial accountability and staff performance. This role involves directing oversight of all Cashier and Main Bank functions, including front line, employee window, F&B, Chip Bank, Marker Bank, Main Bank, NRT and other areas associated with the Cashier department. The supervisor is responsible for all funds entrusted during an assigned shift, verifying transfers and other paperwork completed by cashiers, and providing prompt, courteous service to guests including dispute resolution. A key part of the role includes responsibility for NRT processing and operations, understanding and complying with all government regulations, including Anti-money Laundering (AML) regulations, and knowing when and how to submit a Suspicious Activity Incident Report (SAI). The position requires understanding red flags of suspicious transactions, knowing what information is needed for Currency Transaction Reports (CTR’s), Monetary Instrument Logs (MIL’s) and Multiple Transaction Logs (MTL), and being able to enter customer information for these forms. Processing OFAC screenings, creating and maintaining customer RA (Resort Advantage) accounts, and entering transactions into RA are also required. The role involves floor monitoring, checking and entering customer data to comply with government regulations, identifying customers who may be trying to structure transactions or evade identification requirements, and supporting Casino Credit processes. Additionally, the supervisor will process jackpot payouts, verify CTR and W2-G paperwork, train subordinates, provide coaching and correction action, conduct performance appraisals, and participate in projects and task forces. Effective communication with all property departments and initiation of personnel actions such as interviews, training, terminations, and performance reviews are essential. The supervisor must be proactive with incidents and issues, ensuring resolution with employees and guests, and adhere to all policies and procedures ethically.
