About The Position

The Supervisor Building Maintenance will oversee an eight-person maintenance team, ensuring all industrial machinery operates correctly and safely. This role also verifies that custodial duties are completed effectively and plant standards are consistently met, manages and meets preventive maintenance schedules, and ensures necessary materials and supplies are available for the team. The supervisor will respond to maintenance requests in accordance with plant standards, diagnose and repair HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and industrial electrical systems, and repair pneumatic tools. Additionally, the role involves training and coaching team members, communicating clearly with staff at all levels, and using precision measuring tools to confirm machine tolerances are within specification.

Requirements

Ability to remain physically active for extended periods while moving throughout the campus.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, including lifting overhead when required.
Ability to access and navigate all areas of the facility, including confined or elevated spaces.
Must be able to safely access and inspect all company equipment.

Responsibilities

Overseeing an eight-person maintenance team
