About The Position

Performs varied clerical duties in the day-to-day operation of the Department. This role involves assisting with phone lines, reception, data entry, document scanning, equipment maintenance, and financial transactions related to individuals under supervision.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) full-time years related experience
  • Knowledge of principles, practices, and methods of office procedures
  • Ability to use personal computer, utilizing word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Regular attendance is essential
  • Incumbent must arrive at work on time, prepared to perform assigned duties and work assigned schedule
  • Incumbent must have the ability to work well with others
  • Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves and others

Responsibilities

  • Assists in answering multiline phones and working reception desks and communicates professionally with individuals under supervision, members of the public, CSCD staff, court staff, government agencies and other individuals.
  • Using County and CSCD computer information, determines the correct status of individuals under supervision and the appropriate routing of cases.
  • Assists with entering data and scanning documents into the case management system of a highly sensitive nature and maintains its confidentiality in accordance with the CSCD policy.
  • Maintains and troubleshoots officer equipment and coordinates with service providers.
  • Stocks and maintains office supplies and forms.
  • Directs individuals under supervision and others to the appropriate office or individual.
  • Accepts and records receipts of court ordered funds, research account discrepancies, maintains balances, prepares deposits, researches and locates victim information for restitution payments and applies payments appropriately.
  • Maintains security of received monies.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
