Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related field and four years of progressively responsible analytical or financial experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to obtain the knowledge and skill to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Responsibilities

Supervises professional and support staff to include: prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff are trained; and making hiring, termination and disciplinary recommendations.
Supervises staff and coordinates in preparing grant proposals and requests for proposals to include researching, compiling, composing and formatting responses and applications. Administers grant funding programs.
Supervises staff in analyzing a variety of information such as legislation, proposals, budgets, expenditures, documents, etc. Conducts analysis on the most complex or highly sensitive projects.
Supervises staff in conducting studies to include determining scope, planning, organizing, compiling, analyzing, and making recommendations.
Provides technical assistance and guidance in area of expertise; serves as a subject matter expert.
Serves as a liaison to other units of government, departments, agencies, customers, etc. Reviews and recommends allocation of positions, funding appropriations and program functions.
Participates in and/or chairs committees, meetings and task forces.
Supervises staff in negotiating agreements and contracts; negotiates highly sensitive agreements and contracts.
Develops, administers, coordinates and evaluates programs/projects.
Develops, recommends and coordinates policy making between departments, the public and the private sector.
Prepares and gives presentations on studies and projects.
Performs other duties of similar nature or level as required.
