About The Position

ARCO is seeking a highly motivated Superintendent Intern for summer 2027. The intern will work on jobsites alongside experienced field personnel and assist Superintendents with projects in industries including commercial, industrial, distribution, office, multi-family, and entertainment. The role provides hands-on exposure to scheduling, communicating with subcontractors, and helping run projects from start to finish, with meaningful contributions across the project life cycle.

Requirements

Be enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or another related degree program.
Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
Have excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.
Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in the state of residence.
Be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including prolonged standing or walking, sometimes on uneven terrain; bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs; and lifting loads up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Co-op or internship construction experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Work on jobsites and gain hands-on experience from experienced field personnel.
Assist Superintendents with projects across a variety of industries.
Learn to create schedules and communicate with subcontractors.
Work with the Superintendent to help run projects smoothly from start to finish.
Contribute to project work at every stage of the project life cycle.
