About The Position

The 2027 Summer Intern will work under the direction of the Management team in areas such as Estimating, Plant, Quality Control, and Project Management to learn about different departments within the asphalt industry. The intern will spend time in the field learning the daily work involved in completing projects and assist with project documentation. When necessary, the intern must be able to perform physical labor, including shoveling and raking materials. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a degree relevant to the construction industry, such as construction management, construction engineering, civil engineering, or an engineering-related program.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program.
• Desire to pursue a career in the construction industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience and proficiency using the internet and Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Must wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Able to work any shift, including nights and weekends.
• May be required to work overtime.
• Able to work in various conditions, including hot and cold weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical labor when necessary, including shoveling and raking materials.
• Assist with project documentation requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
