About The Position

Users of our efficient, reliable, and cost-effective solutions include final consumers, contractors, and industrial manufacturing companies. The company operates as two divisions, Decorative Finishing (DF) and Industrial Solutions (IS). We are seeking temporary summer support for our operations team on the production floor or warehouse. Duties include assembly and or/warehousing work June through September.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions (both simple and moderately complex) in English.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and working with decimals and fractions.
  • Ability to use scanners, RF guns, and basic computer systems for inventory tracking and data entry.
  • Knowledge of standard methods for picking, packing, and handling materials in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail and accuracy, including self-checking work.
  • Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to use basic tools and equipment safely.
  • Awareness of surroundings to support a safe, hazard-free work environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, assignments, and work schedules.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Prior work experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Performs standard and repetitive assembly on production lines.
  • Operates a variety of shop machinery and hand-tools such as presses, custom tooling, air drivers and torque wrenches etc. to complete production work orders.
  • Participates in lean / 6S activities as required, maintains 6S standards, and assists in implementing improvements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned including relocation to other stations, positions, and departments within the experience range.
  • Pick and prepare materials and products accurately for production and customer orders using RF scanners or pick documents.
  • Pack, label, and ship orders according to customer and carrier requirements.
  • Verify order accuracy and complete shipment audits using computer systems.
  • Enter shipment data and maintain accurate records in ERP systems.
  • Organize inventory and support cycle counts, stock rotation, and process improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
