Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, particularly related to dermatology.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interactions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software is advantageous.

Responsibilities
- Preparing patients for visits by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and documenting relevant information.
- Assisting physicians during dermatologic examinations, biopsies, procedures, and treatments.
- Educating patients on treatment plans, medications, and skincare recommendations.
- Maintaining accurate patient records within the electronic medical record system.
- Supporting clinic operations through scheduling, patient communication, and coordination of care.
- Preparing and maintaining exam rooms, instruments, and supplies.
- Performing specimen collection and handling according to established protocols.
