About The Position
The Lansing School District is seeking teachers for its Summer School program in 2026. This program serves over 10,000 PreK-12 students across 25 school buildings in Lansing, MI. The district offers a variety of innovative educational options and is dedicated to providing an excellent education in a safe and nurturing environment. This role is for teachers working from June 15th to August 6th, with 3.5 hours of instructional time per day, Monday through Thursday, for 8 weeks. The daily schedule is from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Requirements
- Must be available from 6/15 to 8/6.
- Must be available Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
- Internal applicants in the aligned bargaining unit will receive preference.
Responsibilities
- Provide 3.5 hours of instructional time per day.
- Teach Monday through Thursday for 8 weeks.
