About The Position
San Francisco Giants Baseball & Softball Camps is offering a 1-week internship at Osage Park (June 8–12) for high school and college students interested in youth sports, education, or coaching. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with kids ages 4–13, build leadership and communication skills, learn how structured youth programs operate, and explore future opportunities in coaching, education, or sports management. Strong interns may be invited to continue for additional weeks and locations throughout the summer.
Requirements
- High school students (ages 16+)
- College students or recent graduates
- Students interested in sports, education, coaching, or working with kids
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Interest in working with children ages 4–13
- Ability to take direction and be part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality
- Willingness to be active and outdoors for most of the day
Nice To Haves
- Athletes or students with baseball/softball experience
Responsibilities
- Supporting daily baseball and softball drills and activities
- Helping supervise campers and ensure a safe environment
- Assisting with setup and breakdown of equipment
- Encouraging campers and helping them stay engaged
- Learning how to teach basic baseball/softball fundamentals
- Observing and developing coaching and leadership techniques
