About The Position

This summer internship program at COCC offers ambitious, curious, and tech-savvy college juniors and seniors hands-on experience in the fintech industry. Interns will work side-by-side with industry professionals on real projects and support actual clients. The program includes opportunities for learning through lunch & learns, mentorship, networking, and a collaborative capstone project. Interns will also participate in team-building events and company outings. The internship is located in Rocky Hill or Southington, CT offices, with a Monday-Thursday work schedule. Potential areas of focus include Corporate Services, Business Development, Customer Service, Technology Operations, Technical Services, and Software Development.

Requirements

Must be a current or rising Senior enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
All majors are considered for our program as interns are placed based on skills and experience.
Professional demeanor with ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization.
Self-starter with ability to work successfully both independently and as part of a team.
Academic experience and a passion for working with technology applications.
Customer service minded and motivated to do right by the client or team.
Eagerness to develop professional workplace skills through events, team building activities and trainings.
Curiosity and a drive to make the most out of a learning opportunity.
Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not currently or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

Contribute to meaningful projects that support COCC's products, services, and clients.
Collaborate with a group of interns to prepare for a summer capstone presentation.
Support the tech needs of employees or clients depending on the team placement.
Troubleshoot and consult on COCC's products.
Develop and support COCC's products for clients.
