About The Position

This role supports their Line of Business in the development and execution of work projects to support the Business' goals & objectives. The Summer Intern embodies TD's Shared Commitments and customer-focused culture. TD is the 8th largest bank in the U.S. with over 10 million customers and more than 1,200 convenient locations from Maine to Florida. Within Consumer Banking, we focus on delivering financial products and services to our customers, including checking and savings accounts, personal loans, mortgages, and credit cards. Our goal is to help people manage their finances effectively and achieve their financial goals through personalized service and innovative solutions. We are responsible for the strategy, design, management, and delivery of deposit and lending products. Consumer Banking interns will work in one of the following groups: Consumer Deposit & Payment Products (CDPP) is responsible for the strategy, design and management of TD's deposit products, including checking accounts, saving accounts and CDs. Credit Cards & Unsecured Lending (CCUL) is responsible for the bank's branded credit cards, unsecured personal loans, and strategic partnerships with companies like Target and Nordstrom to offers credit cards to their customers. Real Estate Secured Lending (RESL) provides residential lending products, including mortgages and home equity products. Distribution manages the store network and leads the strategy for store transformation, sales and advice, and customer experience. Digital Performance assesses the performance of digital and mobile platforms used by our customers and small businesses and identifying enhancement opportunities. Consumer Business Excellence identifies critical activities to determine opportunities for cost, controls, and customer experience optimization across the Consumer Bank. Wealth offers products and advisory services for mass affluent, high net worth, and institutional clients. Consumer Banking is offering in-person internship opportunities in Mount Laurel, NJ and Wilmington, DE. Interns will be required to be in-office 4 days a week.

Requirements

  • Pursuing post secondary degree in business-related disciplines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to take initiative and accountability of your actions
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Detail oriented with an ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Must be work authorized in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for employer sponsorship
  • Anticipated graduation between December 2027 - June 2028 preferred
