About The Position

Take a turn as a Utica National Intern! As an Intern at Utica National, you'll work on projects that matter with the guidance and support of seasoned supervisors who are dedicated to helping you learn and grow. Our summer program is structured to provide you with an in-depth look at insurance, giving you exposure to different departments and career pathways through our Leader Chat Series. You'll lead projects and present your findings to our senior leadership, showcasing your talents and company contributions. Our past interns have been offered full-time opportunities at the conclusion of the program - we'll even help you with your résumé and LinkedIn profile! Requirements

Undergraduate students with an expected graduation of May 2028.
Ability to work in a hybrid capacity.
Must be able to work in our offices in New Hartford, NY or Charlotte-Ballantyne, NC.

Responsibilities

Work on projects that matter with the guidance and support of seasoned supervisors.
Gain exposure to different departments and career pathways through our Leader Chat Series.
Lead projects and present findings to senior leadership.
Assist the Underwriting department in retaining and finding new business.
Assist the Claims department in helping customers through difficult times.
Use mathematical skills to solve business problems in Product/Analytics.
Apply technology skills to maintain systems and software in Information Technology.
Generate content for internal and external audiences in Marketing and Communications.
