About The Position
The Summer Intern will gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while supporting a team of professionals. The internship combines practical work with foundational learning, including opportunities to work on projects, collaborate with experienced mentors, and learn about the construction process and different trades. This is a temporary position not eligible for benefits.
Requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic understanding of construction principles and terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- A positive attitude and genuine passion for the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Support the assigned team with daily operations and administrative tasks.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas.
- Help prepare project documentation and reports.
- Shadow experienced professionals to learn about different trades.
- Conduct research on construction best practices and new technologies.
- Assist in organizing project files and data management tasks.
