Insurance Services Division Summer Internship
About The Position
UPMC Insurance Services Division is seeking Summer Interns for its 2027 Summer Internship Program. This 13-week, full-time opportunity gives college students hands-on experience, meaningful project work, professional development, and exposure to healthcare and insurance operations. Interns work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to departmental initiatives, build valuable skills, and learn about career opportunities across UPMC Health Plan. The program offers meaningful project and operational work, networking opportunities with leaders and peers, executive presence and professional development sessions, exposure to multiple business areas, and guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals. It is designed to provide real-world experience, leadership visibility, and career development while helping build the next generation of talent at UPMC Health Plan.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in healthcare, insurance, business, analytics, technology, or related fields.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a professional environment.
