Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Student must be pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree in a STEM Major
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Basic experience with DOORS, JAMA, JIRA, and ALM tool suite
- Basic experience working within an aerospace related engineering development environment
- Basic experience or knowledge of engineering/technology requirements capture and configuration management tools
- Basic experience or an educational background covering requirements capture & definition, integration, verification & validation testing
- A collaborative attitude, accountability for actions taken, execution to plan, and a self-motivation that produces superior results
Responsibilities
- Learn requirements capture and peer review for cockpit avionics for the USCG programs
- Participate in decomposing and allocating requirements to appropriate domains within Collins Aerospace
- Support the creation of test procedures to verify requirements
- Participate in on-site execution of requirements-based testing, robustness and Ad-Hoc testing in a lab environment (schedule flexibility is necessary during formal test phases).
- Collaborate within an Agile-based development team of professional engineers
