Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Student must be pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree in a STEM Major
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Basic experience with DOORS, JAMA, JIRA, and ALM tool suite
  • Basic experience working within an aerospace related engineering development environment
  • Basic experience or knowledge of engineering/technology requirements capture and configuration management tools
  • Basic experience or an educational background covering requirements capture & definition, integration, verification & validation testing
  • A collaborative attitude, accountability for actions taken, execution to plan, and a self-motivation that produces superior results

Responsibilities

  • Learn requirements capture and peer review for cockpit avionics for the USCG programs
  • Participate in decomposing and allocating requirements to appropriate domains within Collins Aerospace
  • Support the creation of test procedures to verify requirements
  • Participate in on-site execution of requirements-based testing, robustness and Ad-Hoc testing in a lab environment (schedule flexibility is necessary during formal test phases).
  • Collaborate within an Agile-based development team of professional engineers
