This role is specifically focused on the CH-53K program within the Avionics team, which develops flight deck solutions, airborne communications, sensors, and fire protection systems for commercial and military customers.

Requirements

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Student must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in STEM.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Basic experience with DOORS, JAMA, JIRA, and ALM tool suite
Basic experience working within an aerospace related engineering development environment
Basic experience or knowledge of engineering/technology requirements capture and configuration management tools
Basic experience or an educational background covering requirements capture & definition, integration, verification & validation testing

Responsibilities

Learn requirements capture and peer review for cockpit avionics for the CH-53K program
Participate in decomposing and allocating requirements to appropriate domains within Collins Aerospace
Support the creation of test procedures to verify requirements
Participate in on-site execution of requirements-based testing, robustness and Ad Hoc testing in a lab environment (schedule flexibility is necessary during formal test phases)
Collaborate within an Agile-based development team of professional engineers
