2027 Summer Intern, Operations/Engineering
About The Position
Reworld’s Summer Intern, Operations/Engineering role offers hands-on work on projects supporting the company’s sustainable waste solutions business. Interns contribute to sustainability initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, share ideas, and take accountability for impactful work while learning from experienced professionals. The role also provides exposure to Reworld’s service lines and plant operations, along with leadership sessions, skill-building workshops, facility tours, and networking opportunities. The internship is intended for people currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in a relevant engineering or environmental discipline. Two 2027 start dates are listed: May 24 and June 7. The pay range for the primary location is $17.12–$22.74 per hour.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Motivated self-starter passionate about sustainability and interested in learning about innovative waste solutions.
- Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative, safety-oriented environment.
