About The Position

Reworld’s Summer Intern, Operations/Engineering will contribute to hands-on projects supporting the company’s work to transform waste into value. The intern will support sustainability initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, learn from experienced professionals, and assist with day-to-day plant operations. The role offers opportunities to explore Reworld’s service lines and participate in leadership sessions, skill-building workshops, facility tours, and networking activities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Motivated self-starter passionate about sustainability and interested in learning about innovative waste solutions.
• Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative, safety-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects that have a real impact on sustainability.
• Support the team of experts.
• Gain industry knowledge.
• Assist with the responsibilities of day-to-day plant operations.
