About The Position

Reworld is seeking a 2027 Summer Intern in Operations/Engineering to contribute to hands-on projects supporting its work in sustainable waste solutions. The intern will assist with sustainability initiatives and day-to-day plant operations while learning from experienced professionals and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a safety-oriented environment.

The internship offers opportunities to learn about Reworld’s service lines and the waste solutions industry, and includes leadership sessions, skill-building workshops, facility tours, and networking. The listed internship start dates are May 24, 2027, and June 7, 2027. The pay range for the primary location is $17.12–$22.74 per hour.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Be a motivated self-starter passionate about sustainability and interested in learning about innovative waste solutions.
• Have strong communication skills and thrive in a collaborative, safety-oriented environment.
• Be able to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld’s values, including contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.
