About The Position

Air Products, a leader in industrial gas manufacturing, has a summer 2026 internship position available in our IT & Cyber Audit team located at our corporate headquarters in Allentown, PA. This internship is for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management / Business Information Systems, Data Science, or Finance or Accounting with courses in MIS or Computer Science. The internship will focus on IT & cybersecurity audits, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) IT controls testing, and Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence using DA tools and MS Copilot to augment audits and SOX testing. The program is 11 weeks long, traditionally from late May through early August.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management / Business Information Systems, Data Science, or Finance or Accounting with courses in MIS or Computer Science.
• A minimum GPA of 3.3.
• Students currently in their Sophomore or Junior year.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Inquisitive mindset.
• Interest and experience with data analytics and automation tools.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to relocate to Allentown, PA.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with executing audit programs for IT & cybersecurity audits.
• Performing testing and preparing audit work papers to document conclusions reached during testing.
• Conducting joint meetings with external auditors and management to test the operating effectiveness of internal controls for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) IT controls testing.
• Preparing work papers, analyzing evidence of control performance, and making pass/failure determinations for SOX testing.
• Supporting the follow-up of issues identified during SOX testing.
• Using Data Analytics (DA) tools and MS Copilot to develop use cases to augment audits and SOX testing.
