About The Position

This summer internship position at Air Products, a leader in industrial gas manufacturing, is available in their IT & Cyber Audit team. The intern will be located at the corporate headquarters in Allentown, PA, and will focus on IT & cybersecurity audits, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) IT controls testing, and Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. The internship is 11 weeks long, traditionally from late May through early August. The company is looking for students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management / Business Information Systems, Data Science, or Finance or Accounting with courses in MIS or Computer Science.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management / Business Information Systems, Data Science, or Finance or Accounting with courses in MIS or Computer Science.
• A minimum GPA of 3.3 is required.
• Students currently in their Sophomore or Junior year pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication and time management skills are necessary.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
• Inquisitive mindset.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

• Interest and experience with data analytics and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with executing IT & cybersecurity audit programs.
• Performing testing and preparing audit work papers to document conclusions reached during testing.
• Conducting joint meetings with external auditors and management to test the operating effectiveness of internal controls.
• Preparing work papers, analyzing evidence of control performance, making pass/failure determinations, and supporting the follow-up of identified issues for SOX IT controls testing.
• Using Data Analytics tools and MS Copilot to develop use cases to augment audits and SOX testing.
