Global Wealth Management (GWM)’s mission is to create industry leading experiences for financial intermediates and their individual investor clients while providing a strong contribution to PIMCO’s overall business results. Within GWM, the Private Family Capital (PFC) team is responsible for relationship management, business development, and client coverage for single-family offices and other ultra-high-net-worth investors. The team provides a more personalized service and tailored investment solutions to meet the specific needs of single-family office clients and prospects. An analyst’s primary responsibility is to support PIMCO’s investment professionals to ensure delivery of the highest level of service to our clients.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree
  • Must be able to begin full time employment at a PIMCO office between January 2028 – August 2028
  • Must be enrolled at a university during the Fall 2027 semester (August 2027 – December 2027)
  • Have a minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) at an accredited 4-year college or university
  • Are business proficient in English
  • Interested in alternatives investments

Nice To Haves

  • Show strong interest in the financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment finance as demonstrated through relevant coursework, certifications, internship/work experience and/or professional organization & campus club participation
  • Possess solid foundation in finance and economics, and familiarity with basic investment concepts
  • Are able to articulate ideas/strategies clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Have an interest in a client-facing career within Finance and delivering investment solutions to sophisticated private investors
  • Are personable, ethical, collaborative, organized, adaptable, problem-solver, self-starter, accountable
  • Have the ability to multi-task and handle several projects delivering completed work within expected timeline; while maintaining high level of attention to detail
  • Interest in alts investments
  • Proficiency in Excel is recommended
  • Demonstrate curiosity and experience in using new emerging technologies and AI tools in your work or school projects to solve problems and drive better outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Account Managers with client specific projects, team-wide initiatives, and customized due diligence requests from single-family office clients and prospects
  • Assisting with the preparation of client materials, briefing materials, and strategic projects supporting the growth of the Private Family Capital business
  • Conducting research on investment strategies, market themes, industry trends, and prospective clients to support client engagement and portfolio discussions
