About The Position
The Marysville School District is seeking Summer High School Credit Retrieval Teachers for various subject areas including English, Math (Algebra & Geometry), Social Studies (World Geography, Contemporary World Problems & US History), Science, Spanish, and Art. These positions are dependent on student enrollment and will involve teaching virtual classes. Teachers will be responsible for preparing curriculum and delivering instruction during two summer sessions. The role includes a mandatory orientation meeting and preparation time prior to the start of the summer sessions.
Requirements
- Valid Washington State Teacher certificate with appropriate endorsement for the position.
- Must complete all district required training.

Responsibilities
- Teach virtual summer school classes in assigned subject area (English, Math, Social Studies, Science, Spanish, Art).
- Prepare curriculum and instructional materials.
- Deliver instruction during AM and PM class sessions.
- Participate in teacher orientation and curriculum preparation meetings.
- Complete all district-required training.
Benefits
- Extra Services Rate of Pay per Collective Bargaining Agreement ($40.00 per hour)
