Summer School Substitute Teachers 2026
About The Position
Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School is seeking Substitute Teachers for its Summer School program in 2026. The program runs from July 6, 2026, to August 7, 2026, Monday through Friday, from 7:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The salary is $50 per hour for DESE certified individuals and $45 per hour for those not DESE certified. Subjects will be determined by enrollment and may include Algebra, Geometry, Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, English, U.S. History, and World History. Preference may be given to internal returning candidates. Multiple positions may be filled by a single posting.
Requirements
- DESE certification is preferred (higher pay rate applies).
- Ability to teach subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, English, U.S. History, or World History.
