About The Position
The Donelson-Hermitage YMCA is seeking Summer Day Camp Counselors. This seasonal position involves leading campers through fun, engaging activities while ensuring their safety, happiness, and growth. Responsibilities include activities like swimming and games, with a focus on making memories and enjoying the outdoors.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 18
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- CPR Pro, First Aid, and AED (within 30 days of hire)
- Must be able to commit to the full season schedule and availability.
- Must be able to spend up to nine hours outdoors, leading activities and ensuring campers’ well-being.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience or coursework in childcare or recreation is a plus.
- Enthusiasm, energy, and a love for working with kids.
- Strong communication skills and a knack for keeping things fun and safe.
