About The Position

We Rock the Spectrum is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment to foster learning, exploration, and safe sensory experiences. We provide children with a fun and motivational environment to help them in the areas of strength, movement, sensory processing, communication, positive behavior modification, social interactions, and self-care skills. Our unique equipment assists all children in their neurological growth and development. We Rock the Spectrum - MKE is looking for enthusiastic Summer Coach's to help create a fun, safe, and inclusive experience for children with disabilities during our summer programs. At We Rock the Spectrum, we provide an inclusive sensory gym where kids of all abilities can explore, play, and grow. Our summer program is packed with crafts, games, sensory play, and activities designed to engage every child and create lasting memories.

Requirements

• A love for working with children of all abilities
• Friendly, energetic, and positive attitude
• Responsible and reliable
• No experience or certifications required—just a willingness to learn!

Responsibilities

• Support children during activities like crafts, sensory play, and games
• Ensure participants are safe, engaged, and having a great time
• Assist with cleaning and keeping the space organized and welcoming
• Create a positive, inclusive, and fun environment for everyone
• Be a team player and a positive role model for children
