About The Position
Do you love working with children and making a difference through movement, play, and creativity? Join the team at Jump! Gymnastics for an unforgettable summer of fitness and imagination! We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and responsible individuals to fill multiple roles—from Gymnastics Coaches leading high-energy fitness activities to Arts & Crafts Counselors helping children bring their imaginations to life with glitter and glue sticks. Whether you're coaching gymnastics skills or leading theme-based art projects, you’ll help campers ages 3–10 build confidence and fine motor skills in a positive, playful setting.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a high school diploma
- Must pass a comprehensive background check
- Must be dependable and upbeat
- Must have a strong belief and alignment in teaching through positive reinforcement
- Ability to see and hear clearly 20 yards away.
- Ability to provide sustained attention to students during class time in the gym.
- Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb onto a spotting block to assist athletes.
- Ability to spot a gymnast, including the strength to lift and carry at minimum 50 pounds.
- Ability to move equipment, including the strength to push or pull at minimum 50 pounds.
- Must have the physical ability to respond quickly to emergencies, such as evacuating children or performing CPR/first aid if necessary.
