About The Position
Looking for a summer internship in Westchester County, NY where you can stay active and gain real-world experience? Mets Baseball & Softball Camps is hiring Camp Counselor / Coach Interns for weeklong paid internships across Westchester County and nearby NY locations. This is a great fit for college students, student-athletes, and aspiring coaches looking to build experience in coaching, leadership, and working with youth.
Requirements
- Must be available for at least one Westchester-based week
- Experience working with kids preferred (camp, coaching, tutoring, etc.)
- Interest in sports, coaching, or youth development
- Energetic, reliable, and positive attitude
Responsibilities
- Assist with baseball and softball drills, games, and camp activities
- Work with campers in small groups by age and skill level
- Help create a safe, structured, and engaging camp environment
- Support camper development and teamwork
- Learn coaching techniques from experienced staff
- Participate in team meetings and daily feedback
