About The Position
Mets Baseball & Softball Camps is seeking Summer Baseball Coaches in Westport, CT to help lead youth baseball and softball camps throughout Connecticut’s Gold Coast and the tri-state region. Our camps combine baseball instruction with teamwork and character development, creating a positive environment where young athletes can improve their skills while having fun.
Requirements
- Experience working with children ages 4-13
- Passion for baseball and youth development
- Ability to work outdoors
- Commitment of 3-5 weeks preferred
Nice To Haves
- Previous coaching experience
- Knowledge of baseball fundamentals
Responsibilities
- Help run baseball drills, games, and competitions
- Teach campers ages 4–13 proper baseball fundamentals
- Encourage teamwork and positive attitudes
- Support daily camp operations under the Site Director
- Create a safe, energetic, and welcoming environment
